Author, consultant, keynote speaker and lecturer – has a degree in  Architecture and Design.

She has over 30 years of experience in leading people to create a vision, and to make that vision a reality in design, property development, concept development, project management and people development. Carla was awarded the prestigious Loeb Fellowship for Advanced Environmental Studies at Harvard University Graduate School of Design for her work on Canary Wharf, London UK, where she was one of the original eight people who created its concept and one of the Project Executives who implemented 4.5 million square feet – Phase 1.

Carla was the Project Director for the iconic Gherkin in London, which received the first planning permission in over 30 years for a tall building in the City of London and won the 2004 Stirling Prize for architecture. Carla has been a Vice President for Citibank – Director of Facilities for Private Banking and Investments; and a strategic development adviser to the BBC, Member of the BBC Architectural Design and Work- place Advisory Council (ADWAC) and Workplace Futures Forum (WFF).

Carla consults on architectural projects of all sizes and lectures on design, complex development projects, leadership, coaching and various other topics, and has presented these topics at a variety of universities: Harvard, MIT, New York University, University of Massachusetts, University College London, CIMBA and Venice University. She has been the keynote speaker at management conferences and has addressed business settings in New York City, numerous Royal Societies in London, and architectural, real estate and executive groups throughout the United States, United Kingdom and Europe.

In 2005-2006, Carla was the Director of the Leadership Development Program at CIMBA (Consortium Institute of Management and Business Analysis) an International Business Administration Program in Asolo, Italy for a consortium of 40 large US Universities.  She created and implemented a behavioral based Leadership and Coaching program for the International Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive Programs and Undergraduate Exchange Programs.
