Expert Coach: Donatella Canella

Donatella holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Michigan State University and is coach, trainer, consultant and a graduate of the Co-active Leadership program. She also serves as faculty for the Coaches Training Institute (CTI).

Donatella is passionate about individuals, teams and organizations seeking clarity and focus during times of change and uncertainty. She helps them to recognize their unique leadership style by connecting them to their most daring and authentic human core. From that core emerges a strategic vision, that is sol- id and fast evolving, so it can stand the test of the complex and ever-changing circumstances around them.

Donatella has worked at top universities in both Europe and the US, where she has served for 15 years as scientist, project manager, mentor and trainer and has published several scientific articles in international peer- reviewed journals. Currently, she works with individuals and teams from corporate clients all over Europe including NATO, Cargill, UCB, Team System, as well as various European universities.

Originally from Italy, she has lived abroad since 2000. Donatella deeply appreciates the diversity of the international environment, while being connected to her local community in Zurich. In her spare time, she enjoys adventures in nature, reading and contemplating, and sharing good food and fun precious time with friends.
