Mimi holds an MA in Community Leadership/Adult Education (2002) and a BA in Education (1978) and holds the following other qualifications: Neuroscience of Leadership, Mediation, EQ, Colour Spectrums.
A pioneer in the coaching profession, Mimi draws on 30+ years of experience training and coaching with numerous organizations across the world. She offers facilitation and executive coaching to both intact and dispersed teams helping them achieve high performance. Her “sweet spots” include useful, often life-changing feedback, a keen eye for observation and connecting the dots, candor with compassion, high-energy and effective activities.
The core values guiding Mimi’s work include a balance of respect for the individual and the organizational outcomes. Her achievements include developing blended experiential development programs for front line, middle and senior leaders, designing several different levels of intensive leadership programs for global clients and delivering programs in the U.S., Asia and Europe. She works with a range of industries including transport, healthcare, water, education, hospitality and family-owned businesses and has provided executive coaching to hundreds of leaders.
Mimi is the author of five leadership publications including co-authoring “Think Smart Lead Smart” in 2016 which draws on recent discoveries in neuroscience and provides leadership tools to build more effective teams.
Years of international competition as a skier and former member of the U.S. Canoe and Kayak Team have given Mimi a unique perspective on teamwork, discipline, and how to succeed under pressure; a perspective that has helped raise performance with a broad range of clients globally.
