Nick is a professional coach and group facilitator working at all levels helping people appreciate their own power and influence to make different choices in their lives. He delivers leadership development interventions from a variety of sectors across Europe, Asia and USA. Nick does not prescribe to any one particular philosophy but the foundation of his work is helping people understand themselves better in order to lead others better. His intention is to create ‘independent and committed learners’; in other words, to make his presence redundant, so he’s not ‘the star of the show!’

A varied career took Nick from the retail sector to leisure, living and working in Switzerland and France. Working for a UK Not-for-profit led to a central pillar of his own leadership thinking – the need to ‘lead without authority.’ Nick worked at a global OD practice for over 20 years leading complex global leadership programs whilst being a member of the UK Management Team. His own experiences of leading international teams and his curiosity of ‘professionally delving’ into other organizational cultures allows him to, when appropriate, offer another perspective to his clients.

Nick lives in the NW of England with his wife and has two grown-up sons. He likes to spend time outside especially in the local mountains. He particularly enjoys mountaineering, cycling, fell-running and canoeing and he is an enthusiastic but mediocre guitar player.
